ENSAMBLE-TONICA

TÓNICA ENSEMBLE

The Tónica Ensemble is made up of and reinvented each year by the most talented students that participate in the Guadalajara International Jazz Seminar.  The ensemble is directed by Brian Lynch and responsible for representing our organization in cultural and educational activities at both the national and international level, introducing Mexico’s new generation of jazz musicians.

The ensemble’s most important role is participating in the social and educational programs in the marginalized communities where we work.  The members of the ensemble are selected not only for their talent and high quality performances, but also for reflecting a deep sense of humanism in their spreading of music and culture and for influencing others to achieve real change that betters our society.

The ensemble has performed in venues such as the Panama Jazz Festival, National Concert Hall’s Lunario, and Soundcheck Expo.
